Since you're using PV domUs you don't need to worry about SCSI vs. IDE
devices. I recommend using the "xvd*" naming (xvda, xvdb, etc.) for
your disk devices.
I had to say, that i am using softwareraid to. I know you are right with
it. But like myny other users they use "sda". In the official doku they
use sday, so i had to be able to use it too or something is misconfigured.
