Hi list,

I have some problem with network interface in full virtualized vm.
I have a poweredge 860 with a xeon 3060 that have Intel VT Technology.

The dom0 is a gentoo with the last kernel and tools in portage-tree.

I have had install opensuse 10.x and CentOS 4.x with success; I can
boot the os without problem.
The problem is the network: when I try to ping some address I get
"Destionation Unreachable...", but if I ping vm's local interface is
all right.
I think that could be a problem with the layer 2 of the vm; if I try
to get the arp table with arp command the vm respond like this

Address             HWtype      HWaddress        Flags         Mask
            Iface
192.168.1.100   ether          (incoplete)          <blank>    <blank>
          eth0

where 192.168.1.100 is the address of vm's ethernet interface.

The same if I try to ping from the dom0 to vm.
I use HVM virtualization; the network configuration in my conf is:

vif = [ 'type:ioemu, mac=00:16:3e:00:00:11,bridge=xenbr0' ]
ne2000=1

I have tried with ne2000=0 but is the same.

Somebody have any ideas?

Thanks

kind regards
