For me (and a win2003-domain) it helped switching off "apic" for this
domain.

Thanks, but it doesn't help...
I tried setting acpi=0 and apic=0 for the domU (windows xp), but still
trhe whole system crashes when starting it.

Anything I can do to get some debugging info in this situation?
