Hi Anthony,

   This looks much better, thanks.  Yamahata also identified a number of
bug fixes interspersed in the patch.  Would it be possible to split
these out and submit them separately?  From a maintenance and debugging
standpoint, it's better to have smaller granularity changesets with
appropriate descriptions for each.  Thanks,
