I also found the links to kernel changes and a xen change. http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/grub-devel/2017-12/msg00002.html I'm going to play around with it, see if I can get it running. Being able to use pvgrub2 will mean ending up with an incredibly smooth migration path to Xen 4.10 and PVHv2...
