xenconsoled writes that node IIRC.

It's possible that this is a kernel side bug? In that the console is not
created because of something going on on the guest side.

earlyprintk=xen on the guest console + a debug version of Xen +
loglvl_guest=all should cause the guest to print to the xen console,
which might give a clue.

It might also be useful to enable guest console logging and see if
anything comes out there

Lastly, does "xl console <guest>" work once the guest has been created?
