Looking just at the titles of the patch series, it seems that there's only one patch which touches code not specific to qemu-xen.  Assuming that's just an "if(qemu_xen_upstream) { X } else { Y }", it seems like it would be a pretty low risk for #1 and #2.  So the only potential risk would be if the changes to qemu-xen introduces a regression in other code.
