Jan probably can comment if those (should/might) work with old Xen 3.3.x

They should, as long as they're being compiled with the right .config.
As evidence for this, the -ec2 flavor we have in SLES reportedly
works fine on Amazon's archaic 3.0.x hypervisor.

now, but using the history you should be able to get something
