On a hunch I tried a variant on the password, which I half-remembered
from last week.  The password you just emailed me does not work but
the variant on it does, on both machines.

I guess you didn't actually test the password you emailed me...

Can you or Paul please confirm the answer to my question about
physical ethernet ports ?
