It's actually 3.1.2 with lots of backports. Don't trust the rpm version number :)

Using http://www.gitco.de/repo/ with RHEL 5.3 is easier, since you're already familiar with RHEL.

*************************************************** When install OpenSUSE 11.1 select XenHost package. OpenSUSE 11.1 has vminstall GUI tool with equivalent to virt-manager functionality. Just get built in help for it, to manage properly. It's a bit different from RH's virt-manager. Actually, in Suse 11.1 vminstall does work and creates images loadable via suse's
pygrub ****************************************************** Dunno, sorry. Probably opensuse-specific bug. I've been using RHEL 5.3 as both dom0 and domU with Xen 3.3.1 from Gitco without problems, so you might want to try that.

Hardware vritualization support is still required for HVM/fully virtualized guest, regardless of Xen version. Are you sure you don't have VT?

How do you "import" a VM using virt-manager? AFAIK the way to "import" a domU from its config file is by running "xm new" instead of "xm create". You'll then be able to see it on virt-manager.
