It's actually 3.1.2 with lots of backports. Don't trust the rpm

Using http://www.gitco.de/repo/ with RHEL 5.3 is easier, since you're
already familiar with RHEL.

Dunno, sorry. Probably opensuse-specific bug.
I've been using RHEL 5.3 as both dom0 and domU with Xen 3.3.1 from
Gitco without problems, so you might want to try that.

Hardware vritualization support is still required for HVM/fully
virtualized guest, regardless of Xen version. Are you sure you don't
have VT?

How do you "import" a VM using virt-manager?
AFAIK the way to "import" a domU from its config file is by running
"xm new" instead of "xm create". You'll then be able to see it on
virt-manager.
