I'm running a secondary for a dns based whitelist... I'm getting
maybe 1.5Mbps of traffic to that DomU, all authoritative, maybe around
3 million queries a day.  Not huge, but it is a lot more than most small
vanity and/or corp domains, and it is working just fine.  It's a guest with 
128M ram running bind9.
