Hi,

we have server in colo running pretty well.

At the moment we are using bridged networking and following schema:

5 IP addresses 45.162.60.66-70
netmask 255.255.255.224
gateway 45.162.60.1

dom0 eth0 is using 45.162.60.66
domUs are using 67-70

No problem so far.

Now we are in need for more IP addresses. We requested of colo new block.
We received 45.163.1.2-11 with netmask 255.255.255.224 and gateway 45.163.1.1

When we simply add to new domU new IP like 46.163.1.2 with appropriate
gw and netmask it simply don't work - network is unreachable.

I was searching on the internet for solution but haven't found
anything similar to this scenario.

So I would like to ask mailing list for solution to make new subnet working.
Does anybody has an idea?

Br

Peter Braun
