This is not a problem with "vnet" as such, it's a problem with the
installation of GCC on your machine - nor sure what the problem is
cuased by, but it seems like you don't have a
/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/bin/ld - perhaps you are using a 64-bit
machine and require 32-bit tools? [That's a very wild guess - I don't
really know what the problem is, but it's not particular for vnet, but
rather something to do with your compiler installation].
