I don't think that was the reason, I had a relative path from /dev,
and it worked after a reboot as written in another mail ( I did
oversee your post because it's not shown in the same thread as my
question).
The Volume wasn't mounted, as far as I know. (the error message is
different in that case, also)

After I had another reply I just tried it again the other day with the
same config, and it just worked.
I didn't find what was causing the problem.
