I'm using the 2342 HBAs. No I haven't found any answers to the problem
although I believe it is specific to the SuSE XEN kernel. I made a test
install using xen sources and did not have the problem. Unfortunately to be
able to use the Yast features for xen the suse install is required.
Since I installed the hba after the initial installation I am considering a
fresh install with the hba in the machine and connected to the san. However
I have my doubts about the doing anything different.
