Hi Neal,

is it Debians default rsync or something special?

Which version of Xen are you running?

Did you compile your xen kernels yourself/did you use ready made kernels?

I am using rsync on Debian Sarge stable-Xens a lot without problems.

Dirk

System is a Debian/Linux Sarge on amd64 with 2 dual-core CPUs.

Rsync daemon works fine on system booting from a regular 2.6.15 kernel, but not on a Xen 2.6.12 kernel. Dom0 is running with 512Mb.
