All,

I am trying to get xen up and running in my ia64 test ring. I have the
dom0 kernel booting but no luck yet getting domU to boot. This is on an
HP Integrity rx2620 and an rx4640. I am running the kernels from Aron's
yum repo:

kernel-xenU-2.6.16-%3.2232_FC6agriffis.3
kernel-xen0-2.6.16-%3.2232_FC6agriffis.3

my config file:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
kernel = "/boot/efi/efi/redhat/vmlinuz-2.6.16-%3.2232_FC6agriffis.3xenU"
ramdisk = "/boot/efi/efi/redhat/initrd-2.6.16-%
3.2232_FC6agriffis.3xenU.img"
memory = 512
name = "xen"
disk = [ 'file:/root/xendisk.img,hda1,w' ]
root = "/dev/hda1 ro"
extra = "nomca root=/dev/hda1 3"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The domU guest starts to boot but quickly panics with:

xen_mem: Initialising balloon driver.
kernel BUG at mm/slab.c:2665!
swapper[1]: bugcheck! 0 [1]

Any ideas? It sounds like other people have had better luck getting
this to boot so I am wondering if it is a config issue.

thanks,

- Doug
