------- Comment #7 from volker.simonis@xxxxxxxxx 2008-12-05 09:32 -------
Hello again!

I've realized, that I didn't really test your patch yesterday. Sorry, but I'm
not a Xen expert:( I simply downloaded the wrong source RPM
(xen-3.0.3-64.el5_2.3.src.rpm). Although it contained the complete Xen sources,
it only builds the "user-level" Xen tools and libraries. After Alex's
explanation I digged some deeper and realized that the kernel sources also
contain a complete set of Xen sources and that the kernel source RPMS are used
to build the Xen hypervisor and the Xen-aware RH Linux kernel
(kernel-2.6.18-92.1.18.el5.src.rpm). I have now successfully rebuild these
packages and will now try to update the kernel and the hypervisor. If
everything goes well, I'll post back, however not before Monday, because I
don't dare to reboot the machine with a new kernel on Friday evening:)

Regards,
Volker
