Summary: xm occasionally does not display the domain state
           Product: Xen
           Version: 2.0
          Platform: x86-64
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P4
         Component: Tools
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: maiden1134@xxxxxxxxx

After creating a new domain, executing "xm list" occasionally does not report
the domain's state, it displays "-----" (happens mostly right after creating a
new domain - rarely occurs after the domain has been running for several
minutes). Likewise, submitting the DOM0_GETDOMAININFO hypercall to the XEN
PRIVCMD driver displays the same problem. Occasionally the hypercall
completes with success but does not have any of the state flags set in
getdomaininfo.flags. If I resubmit the hypercall or run "xm list" again, the
state is retrieved/showen as expected. This problem sometimes does not happen
for quite a while, sometimes it happens right away.

This was observed using XEN 2.06 with Linux 2.6.11.10-xen0, dual core CPU 1.4,
AMD Opteron.
