The only issues I had with live migration seems to be bound to the
kernel I use on DomU.

I tried these tests with live migration:
(I'm using Gentoo)

-paravirtualized with xen patched kernel 2.6.18: OK
-paravirtualizad with newer xen patched kernel: FAIL
-paravirtualized with vanilla kernel OK
-paravirtualized with vanilla kernel older than FAIL
-hvm linux32, linux64 or win32: OK (but i/o performances over nfs are

Hope this helps in any way.

Actually, I'm not sure all the kernels were compiled with THE SAME
features (I had so many tests, and I'm running out of time, so the first
working...) :)
