Thread-topic: 3.0.4 upgrade proceedure to 3.2

Hello,

Does anyone have an upgrade procedure for upgrading from 3.0.4 to 3.2 with a static compiled kernel.

I have made several attempts at doing this but everytime i finish the compile and reboot it gets into a reboot loop because it obviously can’t find some hardware.

I have upgraded so far by copying the config file from /boot/ to the build directory and though this would be enough but obviously now.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ian
