 I am strugling with it long time..
 
Any idea how to make it works?

Just guessing - Try adding "text" to "extra". It could be that the boot process just switches to the graphical mode.
I'm not 100% sure but the first "extra=1" line is overwritten by the second one, so you should add the "1" to the second line.

Also first tools to look around - "xm dmesg", and the xend.log and xend-debug.log files.
