This is probably the cause, but I don't really understand why.
[2007-05-15 17:32:53 xend 5029] DEBUG (blkif:24) exception looking up
device number for hda: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/dev/hda'

I can't see anything wrong with the config file, but if you're using a
recent version of Xen, the "cdrom=" statement should be changed to
something like "file:mycd.iso,ioemu:/dev/hdc:cdrom,r".
