Thread-topic: [Xen-users] Building asterisk@home domU manually?

The values are kernel options I change are in the below files.  I change them to 1000hz.

I don’t think there is any menu option to do this.  If there is I’ve never found it.

./linux-2.6.12-xenU/include/asm-xen/asm/param.h

./xen/include/asm-x86/config.h

Thanks

John

Is the time source specified in the zaptel source, or are you folks talking about a certain parameter to set when configuring the kernel? (i.e. using make menuconfig ...etc)

If you haven't recompiled the domU kernel for 1000hz time source this could be your issue.  Ztdummy required a 1000hz source for timing.

As Dave mentioned in a previous post you probably only need it done for the domU kernel.

Thanks

John

No, and I think that may be part of the key to my success with it. I

I have. when I first tried xen 3, there was no support for pcipasstrought. So,  I got the xen-unstable via mercurial. And it worked really fine. My DomU with asterisk is working like a awnser machine. The only problem that I found is with music-on-hold. The music seems to be playing at a much slower speed. I guess that this has something to do with the RTC/timers on DomU.

BTW... I got the sources from freepbx project, since I would like to have a web frontend.
