This works for the flat files, however it doesn't work for the volumes. It gives the same error as i am getting with create_cow script for flat files.
The difference what i see by just glancing over it,
create_cow script + dmsetup suspend cent01-master + echo '0 2050048 snapshot /dev/mapper/cent01-master /dev/loop1 p 50'
+ dmsetup create cent01
working lines from the above post
echo "0 $BLOCKSIZE snapshot /dev/mapper/rootfs_base /dev/loop1 p 8" \ | dmsetup create rootfs1 A difference of 50 and 8. What does this stand for any ideas ?
