Doesn't look like so.

Did a modprobe

[root@xen xen-3.0-testing.hg]# modprobe dm_snapshot

[root@xen xen-3.0-testing.hg]# lsmod |grep '^dm'
dm_snapshot            19296  0
dm_mirror              24280  0
dm_mod                 61152  3 dm_snapshot,dm_mirror

Will try the create_cow now and post results.
