[Xen-bugs] [Bug 564] New: xm list possibly has same problem as xm vcpu-l
http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=564
Summary: xm list possibly has same problem as xm vcpu-list had...
Product: Xen
Version: 3.0-testing
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P1
Component: Tools
AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReportedBy: Shaun.Reitan@xxxxxxxxxxx
I recently submited bug id#545 that was resolved in unstable. This is great
seeing how now `xm vcpu-list` only takes about 1 second to run on a host with
40 guests. The problem i now see is that `xm list` on the same setup takes 3-5
seconds to run and from the looks of it, it's displaying pretty much the same
stuff that `xm vcpu-list` is showing...
vcpu-list shows the following catagorys
name,ID,VCPU,CPU,State,Time(s),CPU Affinity
while list shows the following catagorys
Name,ID,Mem(MiB),VCPUs,State,Time(s)
Obviously list will show much more information when --long is passed to it but
if you look at the catagorys of both they are for the most part showing the
same info (other than mem and vcpu). Should it be taking 3-5 seconds to run on
a idle host?!
