I know. But did _you_ also look at that log? It goes like this

(XEN) Simulating #MC on cpu 171
(XEN) Hardware Dom0 crashed: rebooting machine in 5 seconds.
(XEN) ----[ Xen-4.9-rc x86_64 debug=y Tainted: MCE ]----
(XEN) CPU: 0
(XEN) RIP: e008:[<0000000065eb1e13>] 0000000065eb1e13

Hence my reply. I don't know what verbosity your Dom0 kernel
was set to.

Earlier on there is

(XEN) MCE: This error page is ownded by DOM 0
(XEN) mce.c:1681: MCE: Error is successfully recovered
[ 237.308119] Disabling lock debugging due to kernel taint

[ 237.314006] mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged

[ 237.321118] Memory failure: 0x289240: reserved kernel page still referenced
by 1 users

[ 237.329872] Memory failure: 0x289240: recovery action for reserved kernel
page: Failed

but MCE injection continue for quite a while after that, so I'd assume
(or rather guess) that original problem isn't the reason for the Dom0
crash.
