Well, one approach would be something along the lines of
the public headers errno.h and cpufeatureset.h: Have a helper
header invoking some macro, where the macro arguments
specify both the C and assembly representation. Prior to
#include-ing the use sites would actually #define that macro,
suitably using / omitting the use of the various parameters.

Another would be to simply have a translation tool (at least
old Windows SDKs [or DDKs] had something like that, h2inc
I think).

And then there would of course be the pretty obvious
asm-offsets approach we're already using for other purposes.
