Wouldn't this be better done, at least initially, on the list rather
than on a call? Personally I think it will be unwieldy with the number
of people who ought to be involved and/or will have opinions etc and it
isn't not clear to me how this sort of thing will work in the format of
a call.

If you really want to go ahead with this then I'd like you to take the
lead on it please, starting by providing a concrete plan for the
structure of this agenda item (so people know what to expect and what
will be expected of them), whose input you are looking for, as well as
an estimate of how long you think it will all take.
