Has your guest enabled caching (SCTLR.C)? This is required by the
hypercall ABI. See
http://xenbits.xen.org/docs/unstable/hypercall/arm/include,public,arch-arm.h.html#incontents_arm_abi

(the hypervisor still shouldn't crash though)
