[Xen-devel] Xen hypervisor panic in SuSE 11 SP2 (Xen 4.1.2_14-0.5.5)

Hi,

We are using SuSE 11 SP2 Xen which has 'Xen 4.1.2_14-0.5.5' and we have noticed that Xen Hypervisor 4.1.2 panic very frequently when we are about halt/power-off the board. We have two VMs which we gracefully shutdown.

Moreover, even though the command is to power-off/halt the board, but Xen hypervisor decides to reboot instead if it panics. I think this is a bug. I'm not sure if it's addressed/fixed in Xen 4.2.2 release.

What are our options here assuming upgrading to Xen 4.2.2 (SuSE 11 SP3) is the only possibility?
