So I'm still having this patch sitting in my queue, and I don't think I've
seen an ack from the VMX maintainers or the main PVH contributors.
At least one of the two I'd like to have in place before applying.

This sounds like a good idea to me, but I don't feel like I have a firm enough grasp to give a reviewed-by; so:
