at least the usb storage is probably USB2 device, so it might have issues in 
usb1.1 mode..

Did you get any errors in qemu-dm logs (/var/log/xen/) ? or in dom0 linux 
dmesg?

Did you actually install PVUSB drivers? in dom0 kernel you need xen-usbback 
driver,
and in the kernel of the VM you need xen-usbfront driver.
