That's a question you have to ask yourself (or the Debian folks
if you want them to deliver a fixed packed). From our
(developers') perspective knowing the problem is fixed is
sufficient.

Bi-section would probably be the best thing to do, unless by
going through the differences or individual changeset
descriptions you're able to right away turn up possible
candidates.
