[Xen-devel] [PATCH 0/2] x86/vMCE: save/restore MCA capabilities

When migrating to a host with less MCA banks than the source host
had, accesses to the extra banks' MCi_* MSRs caused #GP-s so far.
By making the bank count (and other MCA capabilities) available to
the destination host, it can properly ignore writes to extra banks the
guest may know of, and return appropriate default values for reads.

The two patches can be applied independently (the second patch
may need some refinement), but proper save/restore functionality
can only be expected with both applied.
