dont i have to upgrade my existing unstable installation like that?

cd /usr/src

hg clone http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-unstable.hg xen-unstable

cd /usr/src/xen-unstable

make clean
make xen
make tools
make stubdom

make install-xen
make install-tools PYTHON_PREFIX_ARG=
make install-stubdom

Yes, "hg pull && make install" should generally do it.

For future reference, please continue to include xen-devel in the cc-list when 
continuing conversations started there.
