Did you see the driver working properly in guest winxp? Did you applied the 
pBAR=vBAR patch? Mr. Teo En Ming (Zhang Enming) [space.time.universe@xxxxxxxxx] 
can successfully pass-through graphics card to winxp, you can search his mails 
for detailed steps.

Actually, on Q45 chipset, you can pass-through the integrated graphics card to 
winxp with my IGD-passthrough patch (sent out last month).

I just found some time to try vga passthrough again.
With Han Weidong's patches from around august/september i am able to get winxp 
to boot passing through vga.
The videocard is not properly recognised yet, but at least basic vga support is 
working in winxp.

Hardware:
- P5Q-EM DO mainbord (Q45 chipset)
- Ati Radeon 4850 PCI-e GFX card
- 2 GB mem
- Q9400 processor
