Keir, For the bug 1500, it should be introduced by #Cset 20084. In vlapic_ipi, the variable dest_mode is casted to uint8_t from int when call vlapic_match_dest, but dest_mode field is the 11th bit in icr_low register. Therefore, when call vlapic_match_dest, dest_mode fields is always 0 due to the typecast, so when guest processors generate IPIs with logical destination mode, the target processors can't receive them because of wrong destination mode. Dongxiao had a simple fix for that, but from the long run, we may need to cleanup the related logic and removed the misleading variables in the corresponding functions. What's your opinion ?
