List,

When testing a script i'm using on a few linux domU's, one kept crashing.
Turns out this is related to XFS (root domu filesystem?) somehow, here's the only useful output I managed to get out of a testing vm trying to reproduce the problem:

DomU console:

slackware login: [9236870.652650] I/O error in filesystem ("sda1") meta-data dev sda1 block 0x101149 ("xlog_iodone") error 5 buf count 10240 [9236870.652699] Filesystem "sda1": Log I/O Error Detected. Shutting down filesystem: sda1
[9236870.652704] Please umount the filesystem, and rectify the problem(s)

This happens immediately after taking a snapshot of the volume i'm using as backend for sda1.
( disk = [ 'phy:/dev/SAS/xfsbug,sda1,w' ] )

Thoughts? Is this a known bug? (I have yet to test this on anything but xen 3.3)

Kind regards,

-Bart Van Kerckhove
