[Xen-devel] xenbus question!



Hi in backend driver, the backend_changed watch is called when the scripts create a new device. Once called it gets a backend_info pointer from the watch structure. Now assuming that the members be->major and be->minor are going to be zero and they have to be filled in by backend_changed routine later towards the end: -

 

I want to know under what circumstances can I expect be->major and be->minor to be non-zero values when the backend_changed routine is called on a watch.

Also please correct any wrong assumptions.
