Ok, I will check it when 3.2.2-rc2 is ready.

It should be a regression since same case passed 3.2.1-rc5 testing. 

There is a similar bug in 3.3.0-rc1 (bug #1309), but the error log is
different and it has nothing to do with qcow image. 
Bug#1309: guest OS cannot be restored after saving.
