There are lots of versions of Windows, and some of them may use only PIC.

You can try an SMP version.

Subject: [Xen-devel] Interrupts in a Windows HVM

Hi,

It seems that Windows is working with the vpic rather with the vioapic even if I specify (apic=1 acpi=1) in the HVM config file.

Is it suppose to be like this?

Thanks,

Guy.
