  • Thread-topic: disabling the qemu ata pci device on boot

I just about have my Windows PV drivers booting, but because of the way
the hotplug stuff works, the qemu pci ata driver always detects the
disks first. I need to disable it somehow, but only when /GPLPV is
specified in the boot.ini (a la the xensource windows PV drivers).

I can probably just figure out a way to stop Windows detecting it, but
if (for some strange reason) someone wanted to expose a physical Intel
PCI IDE adapter to a HVM domain, I would end up disabling that too, so
it just doesn't seem like the right solution...

Any suggestion of a magical incantation I can perform to do what I want?

Thanks

James
