It's already happened (as 3.0.4-1). That's what you get when you
download 3.0.4 today.

Yes, but AFAIK there never was a -0 available correctly packaged on
download sites.

They're not major

Erm, sorry, but a patch described with the words

"Would be nice to have as it changes the API."

Does not sound to me like "minor minor minor".

Maybe I don't know enough about details of these patches, and I'm
sorry if it is so to go after you for this.

I have a more genereal interest, after several releases introducing
major changes without further notice, without detailed information for
users of what user visible chanhes happened, I am starting to advocate
better release versioning and better communication. So users get
better information on what they get, even before spending days on
trying what's all in the new package.

I think this would, or will if it happens, give users much better
trust in xen and it's development processes and communications.
