My bet would be something TLS related. The only other example with this I have seen is multipathd which just doesn't run under xen, and even goes as far as segfaults gdb if you try to debug it.

I'm using gentoo, without nptl USE flag. Therefore, I don't even have /lib/tls :)
Anyway, it worked with xen-2.0.4, which is good,
but I'm worried that if -testing becomes 2.0.5 it will stop working.

Testing clvmd, testing xen, testing redhat cluster on gentoo, like living on the bleeding edge ;-).

What does gdb tell you about the ccsd backtrace?
