Hi all,

As asked some time ago (no reply) any chances that a virtual smartcard driver is getting implemented in XEN?

The guys from RedHat have taken care of implementing a virtual CAC-driver for KVM…
Allthough I would rather see a generic virtualized PKCS driver for XEN,
it looks like if the implementation path is shorter for KVM we will have to abandon XEN completely.

Hi all,

Someone mentioned today to me, that the "competing virtualisation product" is capable of doing PKCS-forwarding towards a virtual client.

So, my question here, does XEN supports PKCS-passthrough?
As i also need my smartcard locally (on the hypervisor), i can not use neither pci nor usb-forwarding….
