[Xen-users] re: Dedicated nic in domU does not start / Failed to setup G
Hi again
I just installed debian lenny and the problem was gone. The interesting part here is this I think (snip from dmesg):
[ 0.489924] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Routing Table [\_SB_.PCI0._PRT]
[ 0.492000] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKA] (IRQs 3 4 5 6 7 *10 11)
[ 0.492000] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKB] (IRQs 3 4 5 6 7 10 *11)
[ 0.501782] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKC] (IRQs 3 4 5 6 7 10 *11)
[ 0.503584] ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LNKD] (IRQs 3 4 5 6 7 10 11) *9
So no more GSI Problems here...
My network card works without any problems in passthrough mode.
But in my debian squeeze installation, the problem still exists. So i suppose it's a bug in the xen-hypvervisor, that was introduced somwhere between version 3.2 and 4.0.1..
What should i do next? File a bugreport in debian or in xen?
I'm willing to do further investigation, if you want me to do so!
Thanks in advance!
Josef
