[Xen-users] Mixing Debian/Lenny Xen 3.2-1 and Debian Squeeze 4.0-1
Hi,
Debian/Lenny with Xen 3.2.1 on a 2.6.26-2-xen-amd64 kernel is running a
production server with a couple of Windows VMs and a couple of Linux VMs
on LVM. The server's hardware got recently upgraded and I used the
opportunity to add Debian/Squeeze with Xen 4.0.1 on a 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64
kernel to the system (dual boot).
I'd like to take my time testing Xen 4.0.1. Does anyone see any issue
running the Windows VMs on both systems (going back & forth) ie.
normally running on the good old 3.2.1 but occassionally running on
4.0.1 for tests? The Windows 2003 VMs are running the GPL PV drivers
(0.11.0.213); are these compatible with both versions of Xen?
Are there any differences between 3.2.1 and 4.0.1 that I should be aware
of with regard to this?
Jan
